Ezekiel Love

Ezekiel Love
Ezekiel Love "Zeke" was born a stray on April 13, 2010. When we first met, it was kismet. We've been inseparable ever since. It only made sense that he become the mascot for this little blog for rescued animals.
Please move down to see some of the wonderful dogs who are looking for someone to love them. These babies were all rescued and have so much love to give. They just need someone like you to share it with. Won't you give one a chance?

The 'Throw-Away' Dog

Picture a vivacious, roly-poly puppy, with liquid-brown eyes that would melt almost anyone's heart. Small, energetic, and full of youthful misbehavior, Nia, a reddish-brown Shepherd mix, almost became a "throw-away dog." At 3 months old she was severely beaten and nearly discarded into city streets. Instead she was rescued, and became a poster-child for animal rescue.

Adopting From Animal Shelters

Pets make wonderful additions to a family. A pet can provide a source of unconditional love, companionship, entertainment and sometimes even provide important services for people with special needs. Adopting a pet from an animal shelter is rewarding in many ways. "Shelter animals make some of the most loyal and loving companions, because they just seem to know they have been saved," says Melissa Sartin, founder and director of Cast Away Animal Rescue Effort.

Charlie has had a rough start in life. Charlie and
his siblings were thrown in a paper sack and
dumped out of a moving vehicle shortly after birth.
AWS rescued the puppies and started the process
of rehabilitating the babies. Charlie is a great
boy that is looking for his very own home. He
is very social and loves people. Charlie is around
2 years and would make a good addition to any
family. He is neutered, has been tested for
Heartworms (negative), micro chipped, and is
current on all of his shots. Please
email 4paws123@sbcglobal.net for more information.
